33rd Artsthrive exhibition - albuquerque museum foundation
The largest fundraiser for the ABQ Museum of the year, exhibiting over 100 artists & pieces of art in one of New Mexico’s most reputable museum. 40% of proceeds go towards the museum. On display through April 10, 2024.
The drawings intend to capture an essential part of a "home" and what "home" means. An up-close perspective would allow the ArtsThrive Exhibition attendees to feel a deeper level of connection to nature and oneself and therefore home. Naturally, houseplants commonly found in all homes paired with the black and white realistic style bring about a nostalgic feeling, often associated with familiar places. These drawings would blend well inside of many spaces and caters to a broader group of exhibition attendees. Gazing at works of art have been an inspiring part of my life and exhibiting these 3 drawings for the ArtsThrive Exhibition would be a great way to share that experience with others and encourage sustainability of the arts in New Mexico for future generations through the ABQ Museum Foundation.
