Inspired by the southwest environment and nature, this drawing aims to invoke feelings of growth, harmony, and life from a micro and somewhat dreamlike ecosystem. An up-close perspective would allow the audience and Denver chalk art attendees to feel a deeper level of connection to nature and oneself. Gazing at large works of art have been an inspiring part of my life and drawing botanical pieces for the Denver Chalk Art Festival is a great way to share that experience with others.
